Join Galway Game Developers for three action-packed evenings of live streaming, previews into upcoming games, and an insight into the games industry. The tickets are free but you must register to get your link 30 minutes before the event starts. Also check out Compsoc's Minecraft creative & survival servers.

We start with a montage of trailers of recent and upcoming video games being developed in Galway, followed by an online panel session and Q&A with the developers. Come along and talk to us about how games are made and how the industry works.

Join us for a Twitch stream hosted by popular Galway streamer
@CaseyExplosion. We feature exclusive pre-release looks at a number of new games being produced in Galway including "The Dark Side Detective Season 2" from Spooky Doorway, "The Necromancer's Tale" from Psychic Software, "Runes of Aran" from Tribal City Interactive, and "Sub Species" from Howling Hamster. We look forward to (virtually) seeing you!

DOOM Postmortem:
A Year That Changed an Industry

Legendary game developer John Romero takes you on a month-by-month journey discussing the development, design and launch of DOOM, a game that spawned an entire genre and is still remembered as one of the greatest games of all time. In this postmortem, Romero shows pre-alpha, alpha and beta footage, discusses the challenges and dreams of the team, and reveals little known facts about a game and a time that made history.
